Who is responsible

Data we collect and why

• Booking enquiries: name, email, telephone, dates, number of guests, message and language. We use them to answer your request and prepare a possible stay (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR).
• Contact messages: name, email, telephone if given, and your message. We use them to reply to you (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
• Protection against misuse: forms briefly keep a scrambled form of your connection address, for up to one hour, to limit automated submissions. Our hosting provider may keep technical server logs (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Confirmed stays

If you book a stay, we also process the data needed for the contract, accounting and the guest registration required by Croatian law (Article 6(1)(b) and (c) GDPR). This data is requested separately and is not collected through this website.

Who receives your data

Your data is handled by the providers who host this website and deliver its email, only as far as they need to provide those services. We do not sell your data. Our availability calendar imports blocked dates from booking platforms; this website stores no guest names from them and sends them no data about you.

How long we keep it

We delete enquiries and messages when they are no longer needed to deal with your request. Data about confirmed stays is kept for as long as the law requires.

Cookies

This website uses a cookie that remembers your language, and login cookies for its administrators. It uses no advertising or analytics cookies. Fonts are served from this website.

Map

The Location and Contact pages show a map from OpenStreetMap. When the map loads, your browser sends your IP address to the OpenStreetMap Foundation to fetch the map images. The directions button opens Google Maps only if you click it, and Google’s privacy policy then applies.

Your rights

You may ask for access to your data, and for its correction, erasure, restriction or transfer, and you may object to its processing. Write to info@housek2.com. You may also complain to the Croatian Personal Data Protection Agency (AZOP), azop.hr.
